I think I'd still take the Badgers with that spread. They're just so frickin' good! They may hang 80 on the Hoosiers like they did last year. My guess... 70-13.

Easily the best team in the Big Ten.

Easily the best team in the Big Ten. Yep and it's not really close. They really only have 2 chances to lose and that's @ Michigan State and @ Illinois and I don't know a single Illini fan that would give us more than a 20-25% chance of winning that game even though it's at home.

Indiana commit Gunner Kiel is having a heck of a year...
"Kiel was also invited to play in the Under All-America game, but high school players can't participate in both. He said the date of the U.S. Army All-American Bowl better fit his schedule.
Kiel also said he remains committed to play football for Indiana University. The 6-foot-4, 215-pound signal-caller has thrown for 1,755 yards, 20 touchdowns and tossed just two interceptions for Class 4A's No. 3-ranked O's."

Sounds to me like Gunner is DEF a Hoosier.
When asked, Kiel said his commitment to Indiana is still solid. He said he has been in touch with coaches but hasn’t yet begun selecting classes for the spring semester, when he is expected to enroll.
“I’m actually taking an IU credit class now, but I haven’t really talked about school yet,” Kiel said. “I’m still talking to coaches and just chit-chatting every once in a while. I know they’re busy, so every once in a while I’ll give them a call.”

Definitely a 180 from what was said just a short while ago. This sucks for Indiana. I really wanted them to get him so they could remember what it was like to be decent in football again, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. Now I guess they'll get to feel what it's like to have a top recruit decommit. Now if he just suited up for Illinois... ;D

This could be a huge loss...How many other commits will decide to go elsewhere as well...

Demarlo Belcher dismissed from the team. Not sure how much could go worse in Bloomington right now.

I'm sure it could be a lot worse, but from a positive fans point of view......the offense is starting to really take off under the guidance of true freshman Tre Roberson and Sophomore tailback Stephen Houston.
If they defense could make two stops in any single game.....they might be able to win one.

So close........Indiana had the ball with a chance to tie at the 4 minute mark in the 4th QTR at O$U but couldn't quite close it out.
Big plays for O$U were the name of the game.....no question after seeing Miller/Tre head on that Tre should be conference FR of the year.

With the play of Tre I can see why Kiel may not want to come to IU. He sliced up a good OSU defense.

agreed Axman. Gunner Kiel would in no way be guaranteed to start at Indiana with Tre Roberson taking snaps. The kid is legit....and reminding a lot of us of the Randle El days.

I hope this works out!
4-Star Offensive Tackle Jake Mead (Whiteland, IN) will be visiting Indiana this month. He is currently committed to Ole Miss, but with the recent resignation of Huston Nutt, he has opened his recruiting back up.
Indiana needs talented OL more than Gunner Kiel......Tre Roberson approves of this kids visit.

An interesting stat that seems to relay just how important FR and SO were for Indiana this season.
Of the 28 total TDs scored by IU this past season, 27 were scored by FR and SO.
