Hmmmm...I have heard from Christian Peacemakers that we are still killing their people...so I guess it may be hard for some people there to tell the difference.
To be honest, I don't believe homosexuality is discussed in the Bible the way people want to believe it is.

We are killing Christians? Or are we killing insurgents that are trying to kill people bringing peace?

I'm assuming you probably are not a big fan of the O.T. I'm glad God cleaned His act up in the N.T.
(I am not saying we or our military are God by any means)

Interesting way to say it...and it certainly does sound like you are comparing our actions to that of performing God's will...Manifest Destiny and all that...

Educate me on this scenario: A thief enters my home at night to steal and cause harm to me or my family. He is in my daughter's bedroom with a gun. The only choice is to kill him or he will kill my daughter. What (enlightened) choice should I make? I am not being sarcastic...I really would like to hear your response.

You are being sarcastic...
But, if you read things that may ACTUALLY make you think about your beliefs...
What Would You Do? A Serious Answer to a Standard Question (1983) by John Howard Yoder.
This isn't an original question...

I really am not being sarcastic. I am asking a serious question. Could you give me a synopsis of the book or answer the question?
Not trying to be original...just asking a question.

I was hoping you would help educate those of us that may not have the time to read this book right now. Maybe just a little taste?
I just would like an answer to the question...please? Don't Obama me.

That certainly didn't help you.
It is a short book. You can read it between O'Reilly and Limbaugh.
