This year I will vote for Ron Paul if he accepts one of the smaller parties nominations since he has been frozen out of the Republican nom. Terrific idea!!! Seriously, me and a friend of mine were just talking about this! I would love for Ron Paul to be on the ballot it would make my life so much easier. In terms of the 3 lucky ducks we have ... Well i guess there is really only two, Hillary doesnt count. Obama I think IS a good a public speaker, I think he will do pretty well with foreign affairs, and have some solid press releases .... i think his positive qualities end there. I dont agree with much (if any) of his stands and i think he is pretty weak once you get past the hoopla of "oh he's new ... he's different ... he a change" Well being different and new doesnt make you a good candiate. McCain, ya he's old ... And chances are he will most likely die while in office .... But I have to say I like his stands the most of the 2 candiates, he has a stong homeland security and boarder control stand, which i like a lot. If it came down to it, I would prolly vote for him. I am basically just hoping Ron Paul runs ...

I probably would have voted for Huckabee, simply because of the fact that Chuck Norris supported him, and I don't want to go against Chuck Norris, it's the deadliest thing a man can do.
Now that he's out, I really just dislike Hillary as all she does is whine, McCain sounds like George Bush, and I don't know what to think about Barack. It's gonna be interesting, our country is going to be interesting after this.

McCain and Hillary are both going crazy, making promises that are ridiculous...their tax reliefs for gas prices have been spurned by nearly every reputable economist...and Hillary thinks she can end OPEC and get Universal healthcare passed.
I support Universal healthcare, but I don't think hillary has the wherewithall to get it done. Obama is closer, more realistic, and understands why the gas reliefs won't work.
I am done supporting republicans because they hate gay people and they have kept Christians in their back pocket, while actually not being Christian in their goals.
I didn't vote, because I never registered in Muncie, but let's face it...it is still Indiana, and it isn't going to be a blue state in November regardless.
I would vote for Hillary over McCain, but a Douchbag above McCain as well.
I did vote for Nader in the past.

I would vote for Hillary over McCain, but a Douchbag above McCain as well. So you would vote for Feller over McCain?

Voting is a privilege and hopefully an opportunity we take very seriously. I'm not crazy about any of the national candidates, but think when material speaks to the spirit and inner-thoughts it reveals some interesting facts.
Read excerpts from Barack Obama's books FROM DREAMS OF MY FATHER and AUDACITY OF HOPE (...I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction). He was raised in an atmosphere where the Muslim faith was prevelant. How could he not be influenced by his upbringing? All of us are. Does that make him less of a presidential candidate? Like I said, we need to take this seriously and do our homework.

Ah, but if you want to vote in the local Republican races, then you have no real choice since McCain has already long ago wrapped up the nomination. Why not have some fun?

Or...you could just read the entire books...
He isn't Muslim...I think we should get back to attacking him because his CHRISTIAN pastor is anti-patriotic...
Come on, Blue2blue, keep up with the propaganda...

I was surprised to see Barack Obama win St. Joseph County yesterday. My vote must've pushed him over the top.
I have read both of his books. They're decent (not great). I think he's a better orator, though. With it all-but-certain to be McCain vs. Obama, I think the VP candidates are going to play heavily into who wins.

If it's Obama vs. McCain, I think it will easily go to Obama. Ron Paul could make things interesting though. I don't think Paul will win, but he sure will take votes away from the other two. I don't know which side he would hurt more. Probably Obama.

hmmm...I don't know...I think he would be an interesting candidate, because he is a Republican. I think he will not negatively effect Obama, because a lot of Republicans are unhappy with McCain as the candidate as well, they would likely vote for Paul as well...

Exactly that's why I said I wasn't sure who it would hurt more. I know if it were Hillary vs. McCain, Paul would get a ton of support from those who hate the Clinton's but aren't exactly enthralled with McCain (ala me).

Well, you then said probably Obama...I am saying i think he takes from both parties pretty equally, but would ultimately take Republicans from McCain, because Clinton supporters will get behind Obama in the end.
I think it could be a big year for the dems...but it will help if they get this clinton/obama thing finished now.
