It's about time we discussed real basketball. If you don't know what this is, stay away (even though that hasn't stopped most of you from posting on other topics)

Cowboy, I think you need to put a "*" by those players who are no longer active. This may cause some confusion because there are guys on the court who usually don't look all that active.

Note to all: Spectators are welcome at Noon Hoops. However video cameras are strictly forbidden. The players don't want to wind up on either ESPN or Youtube. ;D

Feller, you were almost honorably mentioned but have not logged enough noon hours to qualify.

and if he would only show up, I would include Platt on the first team-- I think it would be great to have Coach Platt visit BC and play a few games. Most HU folks have said what a nice guy he is. As all of us know, nothing reveals someone's character more than a pick-up game of b-ball. I'd would certainly like to get to know him better. So if anyone has the opportunity to pass the word along, please tell Coach P that he is welcome to join in the noontime fun. I will pick up the tab for his lunch afterwards. Fiesta Tapatia, baby!!

Okay, Martinez, Prenkert, Lightfoot, Williams, Rico against Platt and four faculty/staff from HU--they play at Northside Gymn in Elkhart at halftime of an Express Game. Losing five must do something humiliating at halftime of the other teams home opener. Any suggestions?

Okay, I just wanted to keep the noon hoops thread alive. It wass rough playing in Goodman last week: hot, humid, hard floor.

The conditions may have been less than the best, but the games were inspiring. If we were living in a tribal society I am sure the village storyteller would create an epic account of the awsome grit and determination displayed on the court that day.
