I was actually thinking of that Feller. It celebrates March Madness and my Warriors in the Semi-State. When I was in third grade (Alexandria, IN)...my teacher (Mrs. Heiden) broke our class into four groups for the Final Four. Bedford North Lawrence, Concord, Anderson, Lafayette Jeff(?) We preceded to play out the final four at lunch everyday that week...each group representing their namesake for the week. It was awesome.

It looks to me like we're going to need bigger play from our bench. Wes only had 2 points and 1 rebound. He averages almost 9 points and 4 rebounds a game. We average a little over 20 ppg from our bench and we only got 8 out of them in this game.
I like that we only had 11 TO's. We had so many 18+ TO games last season that anytime we can keep that tally to around 10 I'm happy.

Yeah, and the scoreboard said it all in 99 as well. Actually, I think that was a sham call on that 3 by WP at the end of regulation. After all, officials aren't supposed to decide the game in the finals seconds, right? I mean, everyone in the building thought the 3 pointer was good, except for one guy who said it wasn't, right? a sham call? do you know ANY basketball rules? WOW! did you see or hear it? Did you not detect the irony in my tone? Apparently not, but then again those are the sort of rhetorical nuances that don't come through in text. I just couldn't resist the irony of the situation - Bethel got helped out by a last second out of bounds call that contributed to their win, and without which they would have lost. I have no doubt whatsoever that it was the right call - just like Andy Ganger stepping out of bounds was the right call. In fact, I'm not sure which is more ironic - the fact that Bethel got helped out (not "bailed out" because it was the right call) by an out of bounds call in the final seconds of the game, or that Bethel fans (that is SOME Bethel fans) seem to love in when a call like that goes their way, and whine for 9+ years when it goes the other way. Thanks - now since it is a day of irony, I think I'll go and read E. A. Poe's "A Cask of Amantillado"

Oh, and yes, I did see it. I ordered the video of the entire tournament.

no, he's joining the team on Saturday - has obligations at his other job -- talk about a good luck charm.

I believe that both Scott and Marcus went out to the NAIA National Tournament two years ago. I'm guessing they went to support Doug, but they also went to watch the tournament to get a feel for it so that they understood what it took not only to get there, but to win there as well. I'm pulling for the Moore brothers and KJ to make it a long stay in Branson!

They are bother very deserving on finishing out their college careers on going deep in the tourney.

I told my son a year ago, when we were attending the Bethel/Taylor game at Gates, that Ryne was the most heralded, and perhaps ultimately the most talented, freshman on Bethel's roster. But the best player in the freshman class was Tyler Brown. I think time has proven me right, and will continue to do so. Not bad for a WHAC guy, eh?

TB was a MAN today and I think for what I have looked at about Ottawa. I think they might have a problem guarding him. But then again most teams do.
