Bobby Capabianco plays for Valpo? I knew he transferred from IU, but I feel like he played at IU 8 years ago!

I don't expect my Michigan Wolverines to upset Kansas, but watching Tom Crean and IU lose was most enjoyable. My Thursday has been made!

CUFan, I completely agree. For Ohio State not being on Indiana's planet, this is pretty incredible.
Stat of the day... Tom Crean has never won a conference tournament or national tournament as a NCAA head coach. He has only made it to a conference tournament championship game once and past the Sweet Sixteen once. And that reason? Dwyane Wade.

Guess I ended up being wrong on this one, but I couldn't be happier! No matter what happens Saturday vs. Syracuse, this has been a great run at the end of the season. We may lose Trey Burke to the NBA (I fully expect that we will), but we'll still be pretty good next year - what with the Indiana Mr. Basketball coming in and all! Go Blue!

Well, I guess Coach Meyer hasn't ruined OUR program. Whether we win on Monday or not, this is a program on the rise big time! Go Blue! Oh, and Indiana - THAT'S how you beat Syracuse! First win ever for Coach Beilein over Coach Boeheim! Awesome!!!

think Zeller is making a mistake...he looked really weak the last two months of the season. Vic is probably at his draft peak right now. Zeller could have done more in another to improve his draft stock...Why did Remy leave? Butler next?

Couldn't agree more with Zeller and Oladipo, except for the part with Zeller improving his stock. I think he would improve if he came back, I just don't know about his stock. Look how much his stock dipped from a year ago. And this is a weaker draft than last year and next year. He could definitely use another year in college, but I think he needs to go. As for Abell, I didn't realize he left. Has to make you wonder if Crean asked him to. He does (did) need that extra scholarship since this is his second year in a row of oversigning.

I don't buy the asking to leave thing...if he was going to ask someone to leave, it would be one of the Indiana kids coming in who aren't likely to be instant impact guys. Remy is certainly a serviceable bench guy. I think he wants to go to Butler...just a guess...

I think Zeller improves his stock, if he is capable of coming back and actually playing better than his big men competition...that happened less often than I expected this year...

He got Creek a degree...the dude wasted a scholarship for 2 years. By the way, I don't think he forced Abell out. he will always be a bench guy at IU...Unless he signs a top guy in the next couple weeks, I think there is the possibility that these guys really did want to leave...

4 of the top 6 spots on the team are up for grabs. Unless these guys (Abell and Creek) aren't competitors, I can't believe they don't want to be a part of a team that was ranked #1 in the nation for most of last season (as far as I can remember).

Former Hoosier Remy Abel will be playing for Xavier. He will sit out/redshirt a year, then play the next two.

Can anybody in the Hoosier state tell me what they are hearing about Tom Crean? There were rumblings about some boosters willing to pay his buyout for him to be fired. I imagine this is no where near the truth since it hasn't happened yet?
