By the way, Oladipo is about to break Isiah Thomas single season steals record. He's six behind.
Sure, Isiah is no Aaron Craft......but still.

Yeah, because a disappointing season and two games behind the preseason #1 team is a different planet. Remember, its a disappointment for IU when IU doesn't win the championship.

And Oladipo is leading the Big Ten in steals per game.
Opps.

By the way, you do realize Oladipo needs 30 more steals this year to equal Craft's total last year, right? Meaning he has to average 3 steals a game while making it to the Big Ten Championship Game and the Final Four. He needs 5 more to equal what Craft got his freshman year.
And since we are throwing around stats, let's get away from defense for a second and I'll point out that Oladipo has 10 more turnovers than Craft while Craft handles the ball at least twice as much as Oladipo (and we all know how mightily Craft has struggled offensively).

twist the stats however you need to.
HIRG resisted my Oladipo commentary for a few years and has now finally admitted I'm right. He's National Player of the Year. Craft isn't fit to carry his gym bag...nor is anybody else on O$U.
Its not even close. Stick to football.

How am I twisting them? I think it's clear Oladipo is having a better year than Craft. But Craft clearly had a better year last year (defensively) and has had a much better career (again, defensively) than Oladipo has. The numbers say that and you can't find any that disprove me.

Craft will have his chance in a few days.
My guess? Victor torches him again.

And on a side note, I don't think Zeller or Oladipo will get POY. I am not saying neither deserve it, I just believe that they will steal votes from one another, which will hurt both. I don't know who will get it, but I would be surprised if an IU player received it.

Considering they won't be guarding each other, I doubt it., Now, him torching Lenzelle Smith, Jr.? That's a very strong possibility. Don't hang your head up high too much on it though. This is the worst season OSU has had in years. But, considering the struggles IU has had, I guess I can understand.

OSU, such a basketball powerhouse. You're only success came on the back of kids from Indiana. Those days are over.

When was the last time IU went to the Final Four? I guess if that isn't successful, IU hasn't been successful your entire life. Where was your best coach from? Works both ways...

2002.
And yes, IU has been successful my entire life. Two National Championships since I've been alive and a Runner Up.

Congrats to Coach Crean and the players on locking up at least a share of the Big Ten Title.
Incredible to think that this group of seniors won 6 games as Freshmen (including 1 Big Ten). Incredible feat and exciting as the Hoosiers are starting to kick off another great run as a program.

I'm sorry. A championship over 25 years ago does no it make a team successful.

Congrats to Coach Crean and the players on locking up at least a share of the Big Ten Title. Pretty good for the first time in 11 years. What a successful program.
