This team is so fun to watch! It's a much needed respite from the not so Fighting Illini. They're so deep that they've been able to fight through so many injuries and still are 16-3 after a 110-95 win over Deron Williams and the Nets tonight. They share the ball (6 guys in double figures tonight), play strong defense, and hit shots in bunches. Rip Hamilton adds an element to this team that they just haven't had in years past. He's a savvy veteran who can really fill it up, but also passes the ball extremely well (10-16 for 22 points, 10 assists tonight). That's a dynamic threat when placed aside Luol Deng, Carlos Boozer, Joakim Noah, Omer Asik, Taj Gibson, Kyle Korver, CJ Watson, and oh yeah... NBA MVP Derrick Rose. This team is the deepest in the league. I just hope they are healthy at the end of the season, because if they are, I believe they'll beat the Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals and then take out the Thunder in the Finals.

I like the Bulls...and that the Pacers are starting to look like a decent young team on the upswing...another good draft this year and solidifying a set rotation and keeping healthy...the Pacers and Bulls Rivalry could grow again.

Last season's 1st round series was about as close/good as a 5 game (4-1) series could be. I wouldn't mind that heating up again, just like I'd like to see the Bulls-Knicks rivalry stoked again. That said, it's Bulls-Heat for the foreseeable future in the East.

I think we may discover that 3 big players and scrubs or old players, may not be a winning model...especially if LeBron always disappears in the 4th...
the irritating thing about any rivalry with the Bulls was that it was one sided...at least the Pacers and Knicks rivalry went either way...the Bulls never lost. #stillbitter

This Pacer team has a lot going for them. As the Lakers slump, I am excited to be able to watch both the Bulls and the Pacers battle in the east. I will be on either of their wagons when they play the Heat. HIRG, when are you taking me to a Bulls game? Do the Bulls and Pacers play at Conseco naymore this year?

Ya, go look at the celebration...is was more tame than Joakim Noah celebrates when he hits a free throw...
Rose is looking pretty hard to find motivation there...

Rose played an unbelievable game yesterday in Miami to pull the Bulls within striking distance at the end, but he choked down the stretch missing both free throws when he was 28-28 from the line in the 4th quarter this season. He also missed a floater in the lane that would've tied it at the end. He still had 34 points, but he realized it wasn't enough. What I love about him is that he gets motivated by his short-comings and goes out the next night and hangs 35 and 8 assists on the Wizards in a dominating win where the road crowd starting chanting "M-V-P! M-V-P!" down the stretch.
