He better "will" them a little bit more in the next round....because the Pacers have to be one of the worst playoff teams in a long time.
Bulls are barely getting by....

He's been amazing. Deng and Boozer have been dump. Those two need to step it up or the Bulls will be headed home early.

I have not been watching the NBA at all this season, save a couple of Celts/Heat games...
The Pacers look pretty terrible, and it is hard to believe they are playing with the Bulls at all. If you were to tell me they were the best team in the NBA during the regular season, I would call shenanigans on that. The Heat and Celts both looked much better.
After the season Rose has had and the way he is playing now, I can't believe they aren't doing better...Everyone on this team on paper, should be DESTROYING their Pacer counterparts...and they simply aren't.

Ha! The Bulls haven't been playing well in these first two games, but the Pacers have been playing well. To say that the Celts and Heat look better in the regular season is totally ridiculous and flat out ignoring facts:
April 7th: Bulls 97 Celtics 81 March 6th: Bulls 87 Heat 86 (in Miami) February 24th: Bulls 93 Heat 89 January 15th: Bulls 99 Heat 96 January 8th: Bulls 90 Celtics 79
That's 5-0 for the Bulls against the Celts and Heat since the calendar turned to 2011.
If head-to-head doesn't do it for you then how about their last 25 games of the regular season:
Bulls 22-3 Heat 16-9 Celtics 14-11
So... yeah.
I grant you that the Bulls haven't played well in the first two games of their Indy series, but you know what? They won. Just like the Heat are up 2-0 and the Celts are winning Game 2. The Heat have won easily, but the Celts needed a late 3 by Ray Allen and a Knicks meltdown to win Game 1. I don't think you can read much into those games outside of the outcomes.

Calm down, HIRG...
I said "if after watching these two games"...They have looked terrible, and I still think you are ridiculous to say the Pacers have been playing well, maybe well for the Pacers, but basically they were hitting shots, but McRoberts looks awful out there, Price is running around crazy.
I guess I am comparing this to the era when the Pacers had legit stars and were able to contend for conference titles year in and year out...this team looks thrown together and inexperienced. I like the potential, but they should not be able to play with the best team in the league. Danny Granger is not a franchise player.

You just named two of their bench players that are playing poorly... not sure that's out of the ordinary. Hansbrough played out of his mind in the first game as did Collison. Now with Collison hurting his ankle meaning Price has to play more minutes, there should be a little more seperation in the series. Of course that's assuming Boozer and Deng wake up.

Collison didn't play much in game two......Bulls still needed everything they have to beat them.

Collison didn't play much in game two......Bulls still needed everything they have to beat them. Trust me that wasn't "everything they have." Deng didn't show up all game and he's been a huge piece of the puzzle this year.

I have told another friend of mine that is a Bulls fan. These close games are good for a team in the playoffs. They will still sweep the Pacers and move on. Thats all that matters. Deng played well last night and that may have been the game to get him going. I still say if this Bulls team bows out before the semi-finals, it si because of Bozzers lack of playoff production.

And the Pacers will be left with some little "moral victories" that they kept it close, but in the end, they have lacked execution and mental toughness to pull out the wins.
I honestly think if the Pacers could find one decent big man to come to Indiana, we could be in the top 4 teams in the East. Zach Randolph could have been a great fit.
I think Granger would be an exceptional player if he wasn't the focus of the defense. If someone could keep teams honest, he would be Scottie Pippen. I think Roy Hibbert Paul George and Darren Collison are definitely good enough to round out the starting line up of a higher level team. Hansborough could be a candidate for 6th man in the future. Jeff Foster has had a great run, and Dunleavy has killed the pacers cap. Time to get rid of both unless they are willing to play for next to nothing.

You're right... Deng did play well in Game 3. It's an interesting theory that these close games will help them. I do think that the Heat's inability to win close games in the regular season and then not having any close games so far in the playoffs could hurt them. Those guys just don't have any confidence in crunch time. If they don't blow you out, they don't win.

Yes, HIRG, I looked at that too...
Tyson Chandler could help, but he is on the downside of his career, and is improved D, but not much O...
Mayo is said to be a high target for a trade option, but I am not sure he is the answer, though he helps the SG spot which is weak.
I did see Oden could be released this year...he could like the idea of playing in Indiana...and although it is likely his career is over, he may be had on the cheap and be used sparingly to increase the inside presence if his health improves in the coming years.
I bet the Pacers will be working the phones and seeing what they can do in the draft, but I don't think there are going to be many instant impact guys in this class at the 4 position. The Pacers could use the money void to help a team trade a useful guy that may be over the cap...There has to be teams that have a few big guys that they may be willing to trade...who knows. I like the young talent, but they need a bigger presence with experience...

Is Rose really injured...they could be very average without him.

Is Rose really injured...they could be very average without him. From the way he is playing right now there is no way he is injured. At least not as bad as the media made it out to be and have talked it up. Oh, and is TNT Bulls television now? I understand that Kerr played for the Bulls but come on. He is slobbing all over the Bulls, and saying "We really needed that, we needed this etc." A little ridiculous in my opinion.
