There wasn't much of a Bulls/Cavs debate besides maybe who was better at the time. And I think it was pretty evident that the Cavs were better then and the Bulls are better now.
And about Noah, I can't stand the guy. Didn't like him before he played for the Bulls, don't like him now, and won't like him when he doesn't play for the Bulls. I feel the same way about Boozer. This doesn't mean I don't like the Bulls. I'm not a fan of Beasley or Baron Davis, doesn't mean I dislike the T-Wolves or Cavs.
I feel about Rose how I feel about Durant. I think they are both great players. I don't have anything against either of them. I think they are both fun to watch play. I don't consider either one of my top favorite players.

I figured I'd get the first Bulls-Pacers playoff series since '98 off on the right foot! ;D

Bulls in 2. The Pacers will quit after the beating they receive in the first 2 games

The Pacers missed their shot at a win in this series today. They layed out the blueprint on how to beat the Bulls through 3 quarters, but just couldn't stomp on their throat. Rose was amazing today and kept the Bulls in it until the rest of the team finally woke up in the 4th. Maybe this will be the confidence that Indiana needs to make this series interesting, but I think this is more of a wake up call for the Bulls. Chicago was lazy on defense today, and that just isn't their nature. Thibs will get things figured out on that end for Game 2.

Forgot a very important stat. 0-9 from 3. He made such an improvement this season in that department (a as an owner in fantasy, I greatly appreciated that) but he reverted back to his old self today.

And despite that he still scored 39 and willed his way to victory. Sorry incognito... he's a beast no matter how much you try to deny it.

The Pacers looked good for 46 minutes today...and then they showed they really have no defense....

HIRG, you think everybody hates Rose, just because you get a ton of crap from Feller. However, that's not true. Again, I have nothing against Rose. He will get the MVP (although I think that's more because of what happened with the other candidates in the MVP race). If you don't think going 0-9 from 3 is a big deal, especially when he struggled with it for two years, you're crazy. Rose only scored 20 points from the field. Also, DRose took more FTA's than 3 of the 8 teams that played yesterday. Do you expect that to keep up? I think he's on his way to getting LeBron/DWade/Kobe like treatment, but I'm not sure he's there yet. I don't expect this production playing against Rondo or Bibby or even Nelson/Arenas.

With HIRG's love affair with Rose, you'd think he went to Illinois or something. He's just another big time NBA talent from Illinois, that was smart enough to know his college ball shouldn't be played in Illinois.

Rose is just a phenomenal talent and is one of if not the most exciting player to watch in the game today. He's on my favorite team so it makes it that much more entertaining. I know you're just bitter he didn't choose the Hoosiers Feller.

Do I expect Rose to keep getting to the line at the rate he did in Game 1? No he probably won't get there 21 times every game, but he also won't shoot 0-9 from 3 every game either. He recognized his shot wasn't falling, so he drove into the lane and got to the line to score points. That's what he needed to do to help his team win. If guys like Korver and Deng wake up and hit shots, then maybe he'll need to be more of a passer to help the team win, and he'll do that. As for your Rondo, Bibby, Nelson/Arenas argument, I must admit I laughed pretty hard when I read it. Really? You're really making the point that those guys can stop Rose? Bibby washed up, so I won't even warrant that with a response. As for Rondo, let's look at Rose's last 2 games against Boston this year: April 7th: 30 points, 9-16 FG, 10-10 FT's, 8 assists (win) January 8th: 36 points, 10-19 FG, 15-19 FT's, 2 assists (win) In short... no I'm not concerned about Rondo's defense on Rose. Similarly, Rose put up 39 points, 13-17 FG's, 10-10 FT's, and 5 assists in his last game against the Magic. I really think the Bulls are going to be fine until the Eastern Finals where they may have trouble with the Heat. I do believe they'll win and take on the Lakers in the Finals where they'll lose in 6.

Yes, in hindsight, the trouble that Rose brought to Memphis in his one year wouldn't have hurt IU anymore than Sampson did, but otherwise.......IU fans typically don't want kids that can't read playing for the basketball team.

Rag on Rose all you want, but the guy can play basketball and wills his team to win. In the NBA that's what matters.
