he started his first 8 games and seems to have pretty much been benched after that, or injured...who knows...but to start as a freshmen, even on the team that only won one game in conference isn't bad...the talent doesn't seem to be the question...

Don't forget that Blaise was a red-shirt freshmen when he started those 8 games so he had a small advantage compared to other true freshmen. But, Blaise's talent was never an issue at Bethel. His lifestyle choices seemed to be the only problem.

Why take a swipe at Lightfoot because of Henry? He could not or did not abide by the ethics of Bethel so he went to HU--nothing to be ashamed of at BC and nothing to be proud of at HU. I never really knew Blaise but I wish him all the best-- these are kids who sometimesmake some unwise choices (just like the rest of us) "Un-wise choices" like writing this post about a kid you admittedly don't know well but yet you bash his ethics and say HU should not be proud of getting him. That whole post not only contradicts itself but shows your own hypocrisy in just a few lines.

According to Harrington the HU coaches didn't know Henry was coming until sometime this month, and until his academics were checked and cleared he couldn't walk on nor could they announce anything. So, I'm not sure what prompted his interest in coming to HU, but I assume he knows former players (Chase Verba, maybe, since they're both from Angola) and perhaps some current ones as well. Obviously he still wants to play basketball, so we'll have to see what he's able to contribute. He must be 21 years old or so by now, so maybe maturity will kick in for him.

Blaise spent a year and a half at Bethel, and Lightfoot’s pre-game hugs didn’t change his life? I’m surprised! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!

According to recruiting classes from the last three senior classes....they prefer Lightfoot hugs to anything that Platt does.
It's science.

And, Luke and Ryne are pretty good friends. Do we know that Luke hasn't received a Lightfoot hug once in his life?
