I am surprised Kyle moved that far into the future, I thought he was still stuck in the 90s...

Don't be so hard on yourself...I find it is most Bethel fans.

I'm not being hard on myself. Nothing against the very good Bethel teams from the past couple of seasons, but I would still rather watch guys like Ryan Bales, Rico Swanson, Eric Brand, Clay, Edison, etc, etc play a pick up game.

One of the questions I have when evaluating the player of the year is, "Is it Best Player or Most Valuable Player?" If we go with best player, by far it's McCullom. He is by far the best player in the league. But Most Valuable player... I think it has to go to at least a top 4 team in the Conference because he makes his team the best. Yes, McCullom is the best player by far, but the MVP makes those around him better and his team should at least be a top 4 team... My MVP is still questionable on who I think it is......

The heading states MCC Player of the Year, not who means most to his team or who plays for a contender. Based on that I don't think McCollum should be left out. It appears to me to come down to he or Coverstone. I don't believe you can punish the player for being on a middle of the pack team. Had he chosen to attend one of the contenders, though, I don't think you would have seen him put together those kind of numbers. He would not, imo, be on the mvp list at IWU, BC or a couple of other programs. They don't build around an indiviidual.

You sure these are accurate? Dakstats says Coverstone has 18.43 ppg in conference, not 16. That is the only stat I looked at.

Very unselfish big man. Doesn't force the shot and will find the open man

He would certainly be a logical choice at this point.
