Robert Morris beats St. Francis. CL down to 2 teams in tournament.

What a disaster. Time for the league to start scheduling a larger variety of opponents.

2-2 and one of the wins going into overtime...hard to argue we are the cream of the crop...

On the other hand, the WHAC is 2-0 with solid wins by Davenport and Cornerstone! Sorry - just had to mention it. Tomorrow is a different day, of course, and anything can happen.

Conference record in first round:
Chicagoland: 3-0 Midlands: 3-0 WHAC: 2-0 KIAC: 2-0 MwCC: 1-0 Crossroads: 2-2 Sun: 2-2 GPAC: 1-2 KCAC: 0-1 HAAC: 0-1 Cal-Pacific: 0-1 Appalachian: 0-2 Independents: 0-2 Cascade: 0-3
With the #1, #7, and a high unseeded team in the tourney, I think it'd be hard to argue that the Chicagoland isn't the cream of the crop.

Catching my eye is the fact that the Cascade is 0-3. They normally advance pretty far. Cardinal Stritch & the other 2 ChiLand are for real, St. Francis found out. Crossroads is a good league but it's hard to state the case that it's the best. Bethel stands a strong chance of elimination tomorrow night, hope that proves wrong. IWU, even with their strong front line, to me appears vulnerable. This may not be the CL year, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Simple fact, there are a lot of good teams out there, and they're not all in Indiana & Michigan.
