Having been to both tournaments at both locations, Oakland City and Grace, I can tell you that my experience was hands down a whole lot different at Grace.
I went there the first year that they hosted the NCCAA women's tournament and they did a fantastic job. The facility has the space to host tournaments and even though they have a smaller staff, Briscoe and the coaching staff as well as the rest of the University and community members did a great job of hosting.
I would applaud the NCCAA if they allowed them to do it.

AD Chad Briscoe and his staff has/is making a run at the NCCAA men's tournament after hosting the girl's tournment. They also applied to the NAIA to host the men's NAIA tournament when there was some question as to whether College of the Ozarks would potentially be moving up and no longer be eligible to host the tourney. Grace also thought they might have a chance to "steal" the tournament away from Ozarks which we now know isn't going to happen. Many kudos to Briscoe, his staff, and his visionary efforts. He's truly a great addition to Grace!! And I will qualify my comments by saying he's become a personal friend.

[Grace] AD Chad Briscoe . . . . And I will qualify my comments by saying he's become a personal friend. Can't wait to see how that turns out.

Bruin,
What exactly do you mean by your comment? I'm must be either oblivious or clueless. My guess is your comment was meant to be disparaging towards me?? Do I know you or you me?

quote from the article above: Winona Lake’s population is about 1,500 more than Oakland City’s... Does that mean that Oakland City has a population of 12
