Sounds like Will is on his way to an Eric Brand type success in Europe.
Keep it up Will!

I'll be honest, I'm glad Will isn't in the MCC anymore, he was too good! I'm very happy to see him be so successful outside of it though. Keep up the good work!

Ouch. That had to hurt.
It'd be nice if they'd stream more of your games.
Will, what's some of the biggest differences you've noticed playing in Europe in terms of basketball?

Just wanna keep the followers updated on Big Will's playing status. As was stated by a couple of us on other threads, Will's agent was contacted by the Lakers/Clippers NBDL affiliate to have Will come out and attend their open tryouts over this past weekend. Long story short he made it through to the last day of workouts; as one 1 of 20 remaining from an initial group of 140.
Workouts were pretty cut throat; after paying (or agent paying) the workout fee some guys were cut after the first 20 minute cycle of drills and cardio. Will participated in a heavy cycle of scrimmaging and game like situations after the cardio sessions with the remaing 50 and his performance landed him the last 20. He is awaiting a call back in weeks to come...
If not, Germany (a couple teams) or Sweden again.

Word on the street is that William Walker was offered 2 jobs in 1 day. The Los Angeles Lakers/Clippers Development affiliate has offered Will a job to play for the LA Jam. A very impressive honor since there was 140 players competing for a spot. William was also offered an open-ended contract for a different team in Sweden. In his open-ended contract Will has the ability to leave at anytime to pursue other options. Whatever road he chooses it's pretty neat to see the word slowly getting out about how much he's improved since Bethel.
I guess he sent a mass text out to family and friends saying he'll be leaving sometime between Wed-Sat. I'll definitely be praying as to which decision he is supposed to take. And if I hear any news out of Mishawaka I'll be sure to let the BethelHoops board know.

Would be cool to follow him stateside, but I understand most overseas teams are paying more than the NBDL...
Congrats, Will.

Will has accepted the job in Sweden. It is in a league higher than his team last season. With his open-ended contract it allows him to get offers from other teams and leagues.
