IWU has decently strict lifestyle covenant, curfew for freshman, no drinking/smoking and maybe no dancing? They also have mandatory chapel attendance and they are only allowed to watch select R rated movies (ones that are on the approved list). Wesley or BBo, am I missing anything or wrong on something?

Max, how can you still not be understanding this...it is due to an increase in money...just not directly tied to scholarships, which I don't believe he ever implied.
And as for the rest of your attempt at insulting me...ha ha...you really are sooooo stinking cute at this age! cute. as. a. button.

I don't like buttons.
What R-Movies are on the list by the way? This could be fun to see.

It was pretty funny to see how everyone's R-rated conviction was compromised when that movie came out. Maybe Braveheart and Saving Private Ryan? Do those have R-ratings?

Agreed Loucks.
I always found it interesting that at Bethel, the method was to hide from the wicked things of the world instead of realizing how to handle them when confronted with it.

I don't think it was a "hide or run" mentality but, if I understand the Anabaptist holiness theology, abstaining from R-rated movies was more about holiness and/or the deprivation of what could be sinful viewing. It's the same idea behind abstaining from drinking alcohol. It's not that one drink is a sin but, instead, more about where that one drink might lead. I don't necessarily agree with it but that's how it's been explained to me.

But, anyway, back to the All-Sports trophy.

So for the record: Violence and Language don't stop you from loving Jesus, but sexual content does. Noted.
