The Bethel Pilots JV basketball team remained unbeaten as they traveled to Grand Rapids to defeat Davenport University by the score of 78-54.
The Pilots were led by Stephen Ward who scored 24 points shooting 9 of 10 from the field including 5 of 5 from 3-point range. Aaron Griffey had 18 points while Deshawn Davis returned to his hometown and scored 8 points.
The Pilots’ next game is at Bethel on Monday, November 10th at 7:00 pm against Lake Michigan College.

Sounds like a good team. Is there any way of getting a list of the roster? I know there are:
Josh Miller 6-5 Bloomington South Jake Everett 6-6 Triton Aaron Griffey 6-5 Jimtown Matt Owens (no other info) Josh Overmyer 6-3 Argos Stephen Ward 5-8 Michigan City Robby Gingerich 6-0 Fairfield Dylan Sluder (no other info) Deshawn Davis (from Grand Rapids?)

I am confused as to how college JV works. I am not picking or knocking on BC because I really don't know. How can these guys play both JV and "varsity"? Isn't there a max # of games you can play in a year? How do JV games count towards this or do they at all? Someone educate me.

each person can play in the maximum number of games that varsity team can play.
essentially for every jv game you play in that is one varsity game that you are unable to play in. that is assuming that the varsity is playing the maximum number of games.
