Coach Kessler has Coach Lightfoot by two wins! My guess is that doesn't last for long this year.

I got the chance to meet coach Kessler this summer while I was at Masterworks and I must say I came away extremely impressed with him, he is a great man and I'm glad to see his name up there.

Of course you have to remember that the number of regular season games have increased over the years, so that might have kept the numbers of the 30+ year guys a bit lower. Winning percentage is probably a better comparison.

and not only is the mcc represented very well just by the coaches in it... but taylor grad and current assistant coach Brett Burchard's dad Bob is on there too!
my question is for rollie massimino's #'s. are these wins at the naia level only or what? he probably has like 50 or 75 naia wins max and the rest are all the wins he got and cleveland state and villanova and places like those.
one win he does not have though is when bethel beat him!

and thanks tubballfan for your nice remarks about my good friend Coach Kessler!
He is a great man, as are all of the coaches on here, because they care about more than winning!

If Steve Platt were still coaching, he would be #5 on the list with an average of 23.5. FYI.

there'd be a lot more coaches up there in that list i'm sure, but this is the list of coaches with 500+ wins

Ah, I see. I didn't look at the original link. Platt "only" had 329 wins, so he would have had to gone another 8 seasons to make the list. That was never going to happen. Too bad HU didn't hire him in the 1980s when he applied. Hmmm...

We will all miss Platt. and I honestly mean that--he made the BC/HU games much more interesting.
