Oh, I know this one....my junior year. It was a great story of adversity how that team took it personal to get much better after that year. Every program needs a wake-up call...that was ours. Those 6am work-outs the week after our season ended set the tone for where the program is today. It's a good testimony, especially for the seniors on this years squad. They've experienced that rough patch when they were freshmen and took it personal to never see that it happen again. A big step from last to first in the MCC! Can't wait to see how it plays out this year!

Good post Robbie.
Also, I didn't realize that Huntington only won the conference outright one time! And judging by a few of the responses from Huntington folk, I can see that's a sore spot that they were hoping wouldn't be brought up.

we're in a dire need for basketball season to start up. That, or can we just have a huntington-bethel thread where the fans from the two schools bash each other to their hearts content instead of bringing it into every thread?

You assume that at some point we'll reach a feeling of being content? I don't buy that...

I honestly didn't know...I guess winning the tourney a few times was nice too...
I just am sick of Cowboy starting crap all over the place...

that may be the case rub, but I honestly didn't know it was that long either due to HU's success.
I see where you're coming from. I'm just ready for basketball season to start.
to change the subject, Aaron Griffey has been the biggest surprise in practice so far. I've heard alot of great things. Hopefully thats a sign of good things to come. Just some food for thought.

I really don't see the HU-Bethel bashing in every thread argument. I think people have done a good job of keeping threads on topic. Now when basketball season starts it might change. We will see

Can't tell. There's some guy in a green shirt holding a sign and standing in the way.
