Fred Long, who's leaving for Asbury, played his last noon hoops game today.
Lorne Oke will also be leaving us soon.
Today Gabe hit about 8 threes.
Welcome back Tim Erdel.

Oke got traded to the Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats noon hoops team, right? Why does IWU poach our staff? First the Moffetts, and now this! It's a tragedy.

Both Moffett and Oke got considerable promotions. They look for folks have an established track record and are wanting to move up quickly.

They don't have noon hoops at IWU, they play noontime Monopoly. Pass go and collect a new building on campus.

sadly, Oke was an original BC noon-hooper--kids today just don't appreciate the sacrifices these pioneers made

In my 13 years of noon hoops, Oke was by far the best 5'6", left handed, twin brother havin', Canadian hockey -wannabe USA basketball player in noon hoops history.

Oke shared a story of his first day of noon hoops (probably in the 80s). He said that Dennis Engbrecht stuck his finger so deep into Lorne's eye socket that Dennis had to wipe the finger off on his shirt before he could resume play.
We need Dennis back out at noon hoops.
