Impressive win for Triton! I like seeing Jake step beyond the arc to knock down a few three's....

Everett was impressive being interviewed after the game.

Triton has a nice team. Everett has a chance to be a real nice player for Bethel. Davis showed no signs of a bad ankle on the defensive end of the floor, he just struggled with his shot (1 for 10 from the field, 4 for 7 FT). Is Triton 1A? If so they will be very tough come tournament time

Yeah, dragon. Triton is a 1A school that competes in the Northern State Conference.

I'm not sure if many of you are aware of this but all 6 of the 2008 MCC Commits (Jake, Arron, Dayton, Duke, Troy & Kyle) that are the focus of this topic all 6 played together this past Spring/Summer on the Tiffany's 17-U AAU team Coach King (Based Out Of Lakeland/LaGrange).
All 6 are very good kids...
Randy Davis needs to become classmates with Jake & Arron!

At this point, I have to believe he is the #1 recruit for the Pilots.........and unless someone else can give us some inside info....the top recruit on the board for all MCC teams.

I don't have the stats yet, but Aaron Griffey (Bethel) and Duke Johnson (Grace) saw their Jimtown team lose 41-37 to Penn.
Jake Everett's (Bethel) Triton team beat Northwood 50-47. Triton is very impressive.

For Jimtown, Johnson had 17 points plus 12 rebounds and Griffey scored 10 with 10 rebounds. For Triton, Everett hit for 8.

Wow. Griffey and Johnson account for 27 of the 37 points for Jimtown. Not a balanced effort from the Jimmies.

I do know for a fact that Huntington is in fact recruiting Davis. I heard from someone close to the team that last night at the game a Plymouth fan wondered if (exact words) "Lightfoot was going to shower with Davis." Apparently, Lightfoot isn't giving him much space after games...
