Here is a basic background and importance of each picture that was used:
* Picture 1: The 1958-59 Bethel Pilots. Bethel’s 1st team ever.
* Picture 2: Jared Yoder passing to Mike Lightfoot in Bethel’s 21-20 upset victory over Tri-State University.
* Picture 3: The Bethel College student body, “The Wiekamp Wackos.”
* Picture 4: The “Ed-O-Meter.” Designed to keep track of how many times Michael Edison (1999) would dive after a lose ball.
* Picture 5:The 1998 post-game celebration at the NAIA finals in Nampa, Idaho.
* Picture 6: Bethel’s unexpected upset victory to win the Malone College tournament…the program’s first ever tournament championship.
* Picture 7: The 2006-07 “Band of Brothers” theme. (pictured: Ryne Lightfoot, Wes Laidig, Tyler Brown, Mark Lettinga, Kory Lantz)
* Picture 8: Coach Lightfoots 500+ victories. The quickest coach to 300, 400 and 500 career victories.
* Picture 9: The NAIA back-to-back Champions Ryan Bales (1999) Michael (1999) and Rico Swanson (1998)
* Picture 10: Defensive specialist for the Pilots, Kory Lantz
* Picture 11: The 1976 Bethel College Pilots.

I was at the 21-20 upset of Tri-State. Who said you need a shot clock for an exciting game? We were biting our nails and trying to keep our hearts in our chest to the very last second.
Very exciting game.

I could be wrong, but I think he's referring to the NBA commercials "Where Amazing Happens". I could also be wrong, but I'd guess you already knew that.

I don't recall seeing those commercials, but then again I don't pay attention most times when anything related to the NBA pops up on my television.

if you read the video info on youtube it states:
50 Seasons 1 Reason. A look back at 50 years of Bethel College basketball. A spoof of the NBA's "Where Amazing Happens."
No one is denying the fact that it is a spin-off of this.
But in reality, it's a Bethel video done by Bethel people about Bethel basketball. Outside of that I don't really expect people that aren't affiliated with the program to understand or appreciate the significance of videos that are posted on Bethelhoops. Outsiders can think what they want, but all that truly matters is that the Bethel basketball community values the extra effort put together by numerous individuals to make things like this possible.

thats pretty sweet video whoever made it, but lantz should not be considered one of the best defenders of all time, he isn't this isn't implying the best of all time of anything.. its just a collection from 50 years of bethel basketball. kory is a part of the 50 years of bethel basketball, its a sweet pic, so we used it.
