It would be fun to go through all the sports and teams in the MCC and see how each school did. Since Taylor has always had the highest academic reputation of MCC schools, I went ahead and found that 11 out of their 15 teams garnered NAIA Scholar team awards.
This sounds like a task Feller would love to do!!

13 teams for Indiana Wesleyan were NAIA Scholar Teams.... Once again IWU dominating Taylor University on and off the field.... hahaha, just kidding, mostly...

It can actually be quite tough to get a 3.0 over there at IWU, you know, with all the distractions like nice new buildings, technological advancements, overall quality programs, and of course pretty girls... Lucky for Taylor, they don't have to deal with those things to much and can really focus on their studies. The "enviornment " at TU is certainly better for studying... Isn't it nice to see some IWU/Taylor bashing for once instead of always with the Bethel/HU stuff?!?!?!?

Hey now, Taylor's technology is pretty stinking good, their comp sci programs, as well as their physics program, are pretty top notch. We're actually doing things with our technology, not just having it. And just because Taylor isn't tied to a denomination so they can get all the nice buildings, and the fact that we're still bringing people in, says something in itself. However, isn't the girl/guy ratio at IWU something like 3:1? I guess that's a plus for the guys there. I agree Wesley, this is much more fun than listening to Bethel/HU arguments

Come on now tubbalfan, the nice buildings has very little to do with the Weleyan denomination. All that money comes from the 10,000 + people who are enrolled around the world (online) and in the region (something like 20-30 other campuses in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio) that are currently enlisted in the Adult Professional Studies programs. The next 25 years could get very interesting for Indiana Wesleyan as a whole. Part of me wonders how long the Adult studies thing will be so popular. I would have to guess that more and more people go to college straight out of high school than ever before so that particular clientel will begin to dwindle. And yes, the guy/girl ratio is a plus for the Wildcat men of this world. Okay, back to the real story here...Bethel has a smart basketball team.

yes i go to indiana wesleyan and it certianly is a wonderful ratio...interesting to note that the only team not to make the cutoff for NAIA scholar programs is our mens basketball team...i believe this is at least twice in a row they are the only ones to have failed to make it

I see Taylor University has received another # 1 ranking with a score of 100 from US News and World Report for the second straight year. They have been in the top five I think for the past ten years. It is a great honor for the conference to have such a prestigious University in the MCC. Congratulations to Taylor!

I remember hearing something but don't know what happened if anything.

You got me. I never heard anything about a lawsuit. But, I don't hear everything so it could be possible.

Did I overhear someone say that the main reason Feller did not play on the varsity BB team was that he would drag down the team GPA?
