I saw in the transactions in the newspaper this morning that Notre Dame named Ken Nuber as their assistant women's soccer coach. I knew that St. Francis' women's soccer coach was named Ken Nuber so I went to check it out on Notre Dame's site and see if it was the same person. Sure enough, it is. Congrats to him on the move! He's been the coach at St. Francis for 13 years and has had a very strong team there for most of that time.

That's a great move. Notre Dame women's soccer is a top 10 program in the nation.
Notre Dame is the only school in the nation that had both their men and women's teams ranked in the top 10.

Considering that Notre Dame was #6 and IU was #14, I'm alright not being IU.
IU does have an impressive history for men's soccer.

Every once in awhile Indiana has to take a break from the Soccer Final Four. They still continue to bring in about 5 All-Americans a year and littler the US "youth" teams with their players.

Ken Nuber is a TRULY awesome hire by Randy Waldrum and all of the administrative officials at Notre Dame. I don't recall if I've met Ken, but his soccer coaching skills are GREAT! He will thrive there! Randy and Ken both seem like great guys! GO IRISH!
