Cowboy,
What proof do you have that IWU pays better and offers a lighter load? Is this for coaches and athletic staff or from a faculty standpoint or both?

I'm sure there was an "expert" involved here. Probably a student who works maintenance and recently transferred from Bethel. I heard he only has to collect trash once a week and makes $2 per hour more at IWU than Bethel.

I know for a fact that coaches at IWU have to teach a full work load and have head coaching responsibilities on top of that. I know baseball does not have a full time assistant as well there. So if that work load is easier then anyother in the MCC I would be shocked. It might be equal in some areas but not easier by any means.
Newhard is a great hire for DeMichael, Chad is young and has a lot of connections that will help. The only knock on him is he graduated from Grace, just joking. He has been around a lot of good baseball people, playing for Coach Johnson at Grace was a good start, a great baseball man that really had a passion to teach his players how to play hard and be men of character.

My understanding is that faculty loads at IWU are the same if not larger than at HU, but things could have changed recently. Also, IWU does not have tenure for faculty. I don't know about the pay scale, but if I were not so lazy I could find that information soon enough. It is available somewhere, either through Academe or the Chronicle of Higher Ed., usually.

Why is that the wrong turn?
I worked under Roger for a year as the SID at Grace. He'll do a great job at Indiana Tech. He sees the big picture well and has a lot of really solid ideas. I know that he will fix some of the problems and issues that have been expressed here about Indiana Tech.

This is the same guy that quit at Grace, then quit at either a HS or Jr. High after a year and last just a couple months at the NAIA office before quitting there.
