Lamenting yet another anemic offensive output by his team, White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen throws his players, his batting coach, and his boss under the bus. Way to go there Oz!
"I expect [general manager] Kenny [Williams] to do something Tuesday. Because if we don't do anything Tuesday, there's [going to be] a lot of change in the lineup. That's all I'm going to say about the offense," said Guillen, whose comments were spiced with an occasional expletive.
But the manager wasn't finished.
"It could be me. It could be [hitting coach] Greg Walker, the players, anybody," Guillen said. "I'm sick and tired watching this for a year and a half. I'm not protecting anybody anymore."

Williams is not amused... sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3422002The White Sox are in first place. Granted, the division as a whole has performed below expectations, but I still don't understand why he went off. Just being Ozzie is enough reason, I guess.

The Sox offense is anemic with Thome, Konerko, and Swisher all batting around the Mendoza Line, but you are right... they are in 1st place and a lot of that has to do with Kenny Williams bringing in the pitching that has been lights out for them and the acquisition of Carlos Quentin in the offseason. Kenny Williams has done plenty for that team, and had Ozzie's back several times. Ozzie needs to learn discretion. While he may be right about the offense, he doesn't need to display his anger in this manner. Nothing constructive can happen by throwing your GM, your players, and your hitting coach under the bus like that. But... that's Ozzie.
