You are just putting words in everybody's mouth aren't you. When did I defend it?
My point is that this doesn't indicate that Fox News shares that sentiment. It's about as comparable as CNN covering anything Cindy Sheehan says......and me declaring that is CNN's opinion as a media outlet.

Feller, she said, it would be good for US (speaking for both she and the host or she and all republicans) to have Bin Laden and Obama assassinated. She was chosen to be a guest on the show, not a call in, but in studio.
Has Cindy Sheehan ever stated that Bush should be assassinated?
Just wondering...this is over the top even for Fox News.

I love how you're lumping everybody into one big boat.
Is this the type of education that's happening in our state funded Universities?

That comment was over the line and should have been addressed....However, I love how it just burns up the lefties that the right finally has a news outlet. What is better, is listening to them say how "unfair" it is that fox leans right, when all of the other major news outlets are much more biased to the left than fox is to the right....

Meanwhile....Fox News dominates the air waves.
Whether you agree with their content or not......there really isn't any contest as to whom is being watched more.

most news is garbage...I just find Fox to be undeniably biased, despite their incessant claims that they are "fair and balanced". I disagree they are less biased to the right. I think that is a little silly, though I am not sure how you can prove such an assertion anyway.

Feller, you really aren't good at debating, whenever you are this blind. I crack up everytime HIRG sticks you and you go back, well, to this same type of banter.
It is as good as an apology.

Rub - I think we agree on this one - most news is garbage. It is all the talking heads take on the issues instead of just reporting them. And there is definitely no way to measure it, it's just my opinion (which doesn't mean much) that CNN and MSNBC (especially Oberman) are much further left, but I am biased.....as we all are!

Yep...Spend little time watching most of it.
I would be just as outraged if someone made a comment like this about Bush or McCain. It simply is twisted.
It is one thing to disagree with someone's political stance, but to actually make a joke about killing a person as being a good thing is absolutely irresponsible and disgusting.
And let's also bring this up. I think there is a reason why Obama has taken on extra security and been covered more than most presidential candidates. There could really be a number of nutjobs out there that hear these types of comments and attempt to do this very thing, perhaps from their perspective, with Foxnews' blessing. Given this country's history and Obama being the first legitimate Black presidential candidate, it seems to be a pretty legitimate concern.

Rub - Do you REALLY think that Fox News would condone the assination of Barak Obama?

I couldn't have been wrong about the ratings comment.....so that checks. Looks like Rub is at his old tricks again..."They don't agree with me...so try to belittle their intelligence...and if that doesn't work, change the subject."
Well played sir.
"FNC had eight of the top 10 cable programs in total viewers during the month of May, and five of the top 10 programs in the A25-54 demo. The O'Reilly Factor, once again, was the top cable news program in both categories. The top CNN program, CNN Election Center (which includes election nights) finished 7th in total viewers and 3rd in the demo. The top MSNBC program, Countdown with Keith Olbermann, finished 19th in total viewers and 8th in the demo."

When did number of viewers matter? Oh wait, something you brought up...so, weren't you the one changing the subject?
I didn't belittle your intelligence, but your debate skills, that are still in rare form.
Care to go see if any regular viewers had seen anything wrong with the comments? Or does everyone shrug it off like you do?

Again, who said I shrugged it off?
I'm coming at your ridiculous belief that since this lady said something completely out of line on Fox News that it is automatically tagged to FoxNews and not the person who said it. Maxpower then commented that the Dems are upset because the Republicans have a media outlet. So I took his words a step further with some statistical information that FoxNews is indeed the most viewed of all Cable News Channels, by far.
Whats so hard to understand?
