WINONA LAKE, Ind. – J.J. Dubois is the newest member of Grace's coaching staff, joining the Lancers' baseball squad for the 2014-15 season.
Dubois is a 2012 graduate of Bethel College where he pitched for four seasons. He will become Grace's assistant baseball coach under head coach Bill Barr and will also fulfill the role of the Director of Baseball Operations. He will work heavily with the Lancers' defense and pitching and will also aid in the recruiting process.
As a Pilot, Dubois tossed 165 innings from 2009-12. The Pilots eclipsed 20 wins in each of his first three seasons, including 29 wins during his freshman campaign.
After graduating with a degree in business administration from Bethel, Dubois moved onto Belhaven University (Miss.). He served as a graduate assistant at Belhaven, working extensively in game day operations and marketing while earning his MBA degree. He also volunteered on Belhaven's baseball staff, watching the Blazers finish 37-21 in 2013 and 42-21 in 2014.
Dubois attended Jimtown High School where he played baseball and was an All-Conference tennis player.
He is currently living in Goshen, Ind., with his wife Holly (Weaver), who was an NAIA All-American softball player at Bethel.
