Taylor at IWU- IWU wins, but I think Taylor keeps it interesting for awhile.
SAU at USF- USF wins in a close one. Hogans makes it interesting by himself.
Grace at HU- Which Grace team will show up? The one that had the capability of winning this tournament or the one that has showed up the last four games. I think the latter is more likely. HU wins.
Marian at Bethel- Best match up, obviously. Marian definitely playing for their tournament lives. I think they need to make the finals to get to Branson. Bethel wins this one, they are in for sure, if not they are on the bubble. I think Marian pulls off the upset in a very tight game.

Taylor at IWU- IWU has owned Taylor this year outscoring them by 44 points over two games. I don't see any reason for this to change Weds.
SAU at USF- USF USF won both regular season games. Over both games, USF had the same number of field goals on 16 fewer attempts, 4 fewer 3s on 20 fewer attempts, 16 more free throws on 18 more attempts, 14 more rebounds, 4 fewer assists, 7 more turnovers 3 fewer blocks 8 fewer steals and 9 fewer fouls. However, USF also had 12 more points. In the last two meetings, USF has been more efficient and has also been getting to the line. While it is hard to beat a crossroads league team 3 times, I think that USF is going to get it done. Keys for USF will be slowing down Hogans- Keys for SAU will be rebounding and offensive efficiency
Grace at HU- There were 2 top 5 teams that Grace seems to match up well with - and Grace landed in the same bracket as both of them. Grace has struggled with Marian and really struggled with Bethel. This one will go all the way to the final minute and could go to the last team that has the ball. Over 2 head to head meetings this year, Grace had 12 more field goals and 13 more attempts, 1 more 3 on 2 fewer attempts, 20 fewer free throws on 25 fewer attempts 10 more rebounds 1 more assist, 1 fewer turnover, 14 more fouls and 5 more points. Statistically, Grace outplayed Huntington this year everywhere but on the foul line. I'm picking the Lancers in an upset, but either way I think it will be close. Grace needs to find a way to get to the foul line (or prevent HU from getting there) HU needs to improve their rebounding.
Marian at Bethel- This game comes down to 3-pt accuracy and free throws. If BC is on from 3, nobody can beat them. If they are not, Marian might pull out the win. However, Bethel also gets home court and they are tough there. Over 2 games, Bethel made 10 more field goals on 8 fewer attempts, 3s were equal, but BC took 12 fewer attempts. Marian made 12 more free throws on 13 more attempts. BC outrebounded Marian by 5, outassisted them by 11 and also had 10 more turnovers. Marian had 5 more blocks, 1 more steal and 6 fewer personal fouls. Overall, BC outscored Marian by 7. I"m picking Bethel by double figures (if it was at Marian, I would have picked the Knights) Bethel needs to hit their 3s and control the turnovers. Marian needs to disrupt Bethel's 3 point shooting and improve their own offensive efficiency. Marian also needs to find a way to get to the foul line.

IWU over Taylor. There is a reason IWU is top seed and Taylor has had a tough season.
HU over Grace. I have underestimated HU all year, about time to give them credit.
USF over SAU. I don't see this being especially close. USF could win tourney. Branson, I think, is a lock for them.
BC over Marian. Just don't know which Bethel will show up. Miller has had a run of poor games, is he due to get going? I agree if BC hits well from deep they will win, but if they continue their recent struggles, this is a tossup.

Does Miller seem to have any residual effects of the concussion he sustained vs. USF a few weeks ago? Sometimes those things take a while to get better - hopefully that's not the case.
