Grace up 38-30.
Least objective announcer I have ever heard. Appreciate the live webcast, but you have to be a little more professional than this guy. Every call against Grace is a bad one, every good play should be on Sportscenter. You're an announcer right now, not a fan.

Grace hangs on to win 76-73. USF was down 10 with about 50 seconds left and got it down to 2 twice. Good win for Grace.

USF was down 10 with 1 minute left and had it within 2 with around 20 seconds to go. I don't know who shot the second of the two threes that USF hit in the last minute [maybe Hogan?] but it was sick. I was really happy to walk away with the win.

I can see how it would be tough because number one these guys aren't professionals and number two they are fans of the programs they are calling the games for. Just kind of annoying when you are the fan of the other team lol.

If you don't like the objectivity of the Grace broadcast you have the choice of tuning into the USF broadcasters, oh wait, they didn't have a broadcast. This isn't ESPN, the radio call comes from the college/university, they are not expected or required to be unbiased. The radio call is primarily for the benefit of family members and other team/school/player supporters to hear the game and keep up with their team. The purpose of the broadcast is NOT for the opposing team.

Getting people to do webcasts of NAIA D2 basketball games (both men and women) is not an easy thing to do. Most schools can't pay much, if anything, so there are not many people available. Student interns from a school's broadcasting/media department are a possibility (some even do it for internship credit), but the students' talent level is often very uneven. For those of us who do these games (I do the CU games on our school's web site, via Stretch Internet), we do call the games primarily for our own folks - especially road games when the other school does not do any audio and/or video for their fans. But that being said, it is good for the person(s) calling the game to remember that even though it is not likely that very many, if any, of the opposing school's fans are listening, it is always a possibility - so one should at least be aware of that. And even though it is a "home" broadcast, one has to at least respect the possibility that the other team has some of their fans tuning in. In fact, we have at times told another school that if they want to link to our webcast on our website, they can do that. That sort of thing happens lot more now, since more schools are doing video of their games. (The one problem with that is if you want to watch the other school's video, but listen to you own audio, they often do not sync up - and there can be 30-60 seconds difference between the two). Just my thoughts. I have listened to a few other webcasts of other teams, and for the most part they have certainly do a decent job. I have only rarely listened and felt like I had no idea what was going on. Usually the problem is not bias, but just flat out incompetence. But, as I said, this is quite rare.

Like I said before, I'm sure it is difficult to stay objective because the people calling these games are fans of the home team. I appreciate the broadcast of the game, but usually it is a little more pleasant to listen to. The younger broadcaster did a very fine job of staying unbiased while the older gentlemen made it obvious he was a Grace supporter.
