No real surprises yet (my favorite story is LB Foster who committed to Auburn, got an Auburn tatoo and then decommitted and changes to Alabama, tatoo and all). OSU is hauling in a top class. Bama and Florida also strong.

How is Ole Miss' class not a real surprise? Can anybody say future 30 for 30 or future investigation? How about the mass exodus from USC?

USC has great players, just not very many. Ole Miss is building a great program. A&M has a great class. Everywhere but Scouts.com has Bama's class as #1--not sure what they will do with 4 highly touted RBs.

A&M has a great class because they have an entire 2-deep from this class!

A&M sure seemed to dominate the Texas colleges in-state. But it is always fun to look at these classes in a few years. I looked back at some of Bama's great classes in the last five years and many 5-star players, who headed those classes, never played and are no longer around.

Good class from the Hoosiers this year. NO question that Kevin Wilson will have IU fighting it out with the big boys in the coming years.

Looks like the Hoosiers are about to pull off a late signing shocker.
WR Taj Williams from Florida (Rivals 4-Star / #214 Recruit in America) is about to commit to the Hoosiers. His offer list includes:
Notre Dame Florida State Alabama Florida Louisville Ole Miss Mississippi State Miami South Carolina USC

That would be great for IU and the Big Ten. I find it interesting that no other Big Ten school has offered (unless you gave us a few notable offers?)

No other Big Ten schools popped up on his list. My guess is that he has some academic issues but his coach says he's on track and ready to go. Going by the Rivals scoring system a commitment from Taj will move IU to #4 in the recruiting rankings for the Big Ten this year. Need about 10 more of those to go .500 in the conference.

Honestly, with the the way the Big Ten teams (not named Ohio st. or michigan) are recruiting, if IU keeps this up, they could finish above .500 easily.

Honestly, with the the way the Big Ten teams (not named Ohio st. or michigan) are recruiting, if IU keeps this up, they could finish above .500 easily. In all seriousness, I think it will happen next year. IU was very very close this year in each game. The team was dominated by FR/SO and played two backup QB's all season. Looking forward to seeing how this years defensive recruit studs work out. Antonio Allen (4-Star FS from Indianapolis) #231 Overall Recruit David Kenney (4-Star DE from Indianapolis) #244 Overall Recruit Darius Latham (4-Star DT from Indianapolis) #239 Overall Recruit I can't remember IU ever receiving a commitment from a National Top 250 before. Let alone 3 in the same year. Taj Williams will make four.

It's official, Taj Williams has committed to Indiana.
IU now has the #4 ranked recruiting class in the Big Ten. Incredible
