I'm in agreeance there CUfan. This really doesn't fit what most of us would like to see happen. This tournament is no different than Bethel's Gates Automotive Classic or Grace's Holiday Inn-vitational, etc. We need something that the two conferences would put on collectively.

Perhaps a tourney with the "Northern" MCC schools and the WHAC played at Northside Gym in Elkhart.

It also does not resemble Bethel's Gates Automotive Classic because these games should actually be competitive. Sorry...couldn't resist.

Does Cornerstone qualify as bad enough to play in the Gates Automotive Classic now? It has been quite a fall after all.......

Apparently not, since we haven't been invited!

The 08/09 schedule on Grace's website shows Grace at Cornerstone for a tourney on Nov 21 and 22. Any idea who else will be there?

"It would be great to get all the teams in a tourney--play it at a neutral site (or Bethel)."
It would be great to do that. Since most of the teams are so spread out between the two conferences, why not use Western Michigan University's and Notre Dame's facilites, they have a lot of space for seating and have immaculate facilities for the games. These would definitely be a couple of neutral and centrally located places for all teams.
