Indiana played well in the first 3 and a half games, but fell apart in the 2nd half of Game 4 and didn't show up in Game 5. For the first time since the Miller/Knicks series, I'm rooting for the Pacers in a playoff series, so I'd like to see a little more fight in Game 6, as would team president Larry Bird who said his team went "soft" in Game 5.
As for the flagrant fouls in Game 5, there needs to be suspensions to both Pittman and Haslem. Hansbrough at least made a play on the ball. Haslem did not, no matter what he says. Pittman's sole purpose was to put an elbow in Stephenson's face. Pittman needs to be suspended for multiple games.

It's hard to play tough when you play against a team that flops like crazy and gets a lot of calls (see game 1 as a good example), and then, when you have players deliberately retaliating and trying to injure someone like the hits on Hansbrough and Stephenson, and they aren't called correctly IN GAME, it can really break the will of a team. I hope they come back hard in game 6, if they do, they should be able to force a game 7. I

Haslem killed them in the 4th quarter of game 4...it's sad how they have really not played well in games they could have and SHOULD have won....

LBJ has five fouls on him, the entire series.
It was over before it started folks.

Haslem suspended for Game 6 tonight and Pittman got 3 games. Pittman's a non-factor anyway, but the Haslem suspension is a big loss for a Miami team that was already thin on the frontline. Hopefully the Pacers bring it and force Game 7!

I do think the Pacers accomplished a lot this year...but they really died the last 3 games of this series... To not win at home when the Heat were without Bosh, Haslem, and Pittman...and a VERY hobbled Miller...that's a really rough reality today. I think the Pacers depth was oversold. I guess you could say that they aren't a lot worse than their starters, but their starters are much more fluid together. There is no consistent scorer in either group, unfortunately. I am not sure if Eric Gordon is the answer...but he is the best possible FA. Deron Williams could be interesting, but I doubt he would consider a team without another superstar. I don't think Dwight Howard would consider it either, and he doesn't really give them anything they desperately need. I could see a Granger trade helpinng the Pacers, giving George more time to grow, and possibly bringing in a more consistent scorer.
