Seems to be the new model...hope that our two or three best players are better than your two or three best players. there is still some talent out there that can help some teams.
The clippers still have Bledsoe as well, who was originally requested in the trade, which I thought was ridiculous...that at least gives someone with upside off the bench.

Here is to hoping Gordon doesn't sing a long term deal so the Pacers can pick him up in Free Agency next off-season.

This is just too rich... Apparently Gordon is pissed at the Hornets for not being honest with him. “All you do is take the man’s word and take that he said that no one is going to go anywhere,” Gordon told Yahoo! Sports. “… To completely lie like that is something unprofessional.”Gee, this whole "no one is going anywhere" comment sounds a lot like his dad's "Eric is still committed to Illinois and not going anywhere" comment. Weber took the Gordon's at their word and everyone saw what happened. As the saying goes, karma's a b... sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=mc-spears_eric_gordon_chris_kaman_clippers_nba_010412

Are you guys still crying about this?
I hope the team has moved on (although they've only gotten worse since the Gordon saga) because the fans are pathetic at this point. Notice how no Hoosier fans are losing sleep over the Gunner Kiel situation?
Erics family should show up at the next Clippers game and throw batteries at people, that would be the respectable thing to do.

The Kiel thing and the Gordon this are two COMPLETELY different situations, and you know it. Basketball recruiting is nothing like football recruiting because of the amount of players involved. 1 5-star basketball recruit can make or break a program, while in football it helps, but isn't as big of a deal as getting a lot of solid players. Gordon screwed Weber for that class and set the Illini back a couple years by telling him all along that he was committed, until pulling the rug out from underneath him at the last minute. Now, when he's lied to, he is up in arms about it while failing to see the irony of the situation and how he was on the other side in the past. That's all I was pointing out.

Did you get a tissue on the way out?
Apparently Bruthie is as inept at knowing the kids he recruits and handling the fluid situation of coaching changes as he is putting together a reasonable Big Ten offense.
