Okay Loucks. I deal with SEC fans everyday so I can deal with you. Point taken however I stand by my stance that since the MC episode JT has run a great clean program (as clean a a top 10 NCAA football program is run) and made a great effort to get the kids in the classroom. If you have ever heard him speak he will tell you that. And yes the statistics speak for themself. JW and I am sure it is higher than OSU, but what is ND's graduation rate with their football team since you seem to be Anthony Tony Joseph Reali?

ND is 96% but Loucks understated OSU...they're at 62% Oops. My bad, I was going off the 2008 numbers (not 2009). And, Notre Dame and Duke are tied for first. As for the B10, Penn State and Northwestern should be applauded for their student athlete achievements. NU graduates 92% and PSU does 85%.

Ohio State received it's 16th and 17th commitments for the 2011 season in TE Nick Vannett and S Ron Tanner. Tanner is rated the 7th best safety in the nation by Scout and the 8th best prospect in Ohio. LB Joshua Perry also committed, and is the first recruit for 2012.

What seems to be the magic number for the buckeyes this year? I heard rumors of the 20-23 range, wasnt sure what the general consensus seems to be from the Buckeye faithful.

I've heard 23 is the magic number, with Trey DePriest, Doran Grant, and Angelo Mangiro more than likely at the top of the list.

Doran Grant would be the one guy the MSU crowd want the most. DeAnthony Arnett would be great, but we need CB's so bad! We've all been praying for a miracle that Grant some how, some way picks to be Green.
I think he's all yours though.

Unfortunately, as I expected, Trey DePriest picked Alabama over OSU. It's a good thing OSU doesn't have a problem finding (or developing) great LB's, because this is the 2nd straight year the state's (and probably country's) top LB has not picked the in-state school. I was really hoping on DePriest as he plays HS in the same city I went to elementary school. If I'm in Ohio during the football season, I still plan on checking out this kid.

Four-star ILB Ejuan Price of Pennsylvania has narrowed his list down to two schools -- and neither of them is his hometown Pitt Panthers. Price tells ESPN.com's Bill Kurelic, writing for Bucknuts.com, that he will choose between Iowa and Ohio State.
Price has visited both finalists and plans to try to get back to Columbus to attend a practice. (He won't return to Iowa City because of the distance.) He said he would like to make a decision before the season, but he is not holding himself to that timetable.
"What's not to like about Ohio State?" Price said. "Everything is good there. The facilities are good. I like the coaches. ... I'm not that depth chart savvy, but Iowa doesn't have too many natural linebackers coming back. And they have a good weight lifting program."
Kurelic predicts that Price will become the Buckeyes' first LB commit for the 2011 cycle, somewhat making up for the disappointment of losing Trey DePriest to Alabama.

Incognito, who are you kidding? If OSU doesn't win this game by 17+ it's an upset. Illinois' secondary is still terrible without Terry Hawthorne (who will out until next week) so Pryor may have his biggest passing game yet. If OSU can keep Leshoure under control, which with their defense they should be able to do, it won't be much of a game.

Solid.......but a drop off from what we've seen over the past couple of years.
I'm happy to see that........because it means Matta's breadbasket (Indiana) is being interfered with.
