Is the softball team (ranked 7th nationally, one NAIA division) the best BC team ever, even better than the 90s men's hoops teams

To early in the season to tell; although they are really good. But thats an interesting topic of discussion because I was just in discussion with another coach about the best overall team on campus this year. Its a toss up right now with them and another womens team...

I'd say Coach Randolph's Women's Golf teams from the past few years merit inclusion in this disscusion.

Did the BC softball team win multiple NAIA championships when I wasn't looking? I give them props for their recent success the past few years, but lets not go overboard here.

Not to take anything away from softball or any other sport, but Coach Randolph and his team get my vote: 6th in 2007 5th in 2008 (with the individual champion) runner-up in 2009 For a cold weather team in a single division sport up against a UConn-like juggernaut (Oklahoma City); that is pretty amazing. And to think the program just started from scratch in what 2004?

Hard to set aside personal prejudices The men's basketball body of work is undeniable.
