British Columbia-based Canlan Ice Sports Corp. says the Ice Sports Fort Wayne complex is now fully functional. The company is leasing and operating the three ice pad and entertainment facility for up to 20 years. It also has an option to purchase during the first seven years of the facility.
***** With additional ice, could USF and IndTech hockey be far away?

I just don't see either of those schools expanding their budget for hockey. That's a lot of equipment and are there even enough people in the area who play to draw from in order to field good teams?

Tech is adding Men's and Women's Lacrosse, aren't too many lacrosse players in Indiana. I'm guessing there are more hockey players in Fort Wayne than Lacrosse players.

If they added hockey it would have to be a low level of club hockey, because even IPFW has club hockey and they are not very good.
I'm still not sure they can afford it, unless the players have to pay to play (see IPFW hockey).
