I'm working in the Corporate Ticket Sales department.
I got very lucky....I've applied for this job for a couple of years through Teamworkonline.com, which is a big waste of time.
This past Tuesday RBNY had a job fair to fill part time jobs at the new Stadium, so I stood outside in a blizzard for a few hours and had a chance to meet someone within the ticket sales department. He went back to the office that night and told his boss that I was over qualified for any of the part time stadium jobs and thought I could be a good fit for the sales team.
Sure enough I got a call the next day and I interviewed at their HQ yesterday. A quick and lucky process.

That is awesome! Congrats! NYRB will have a better team this year than last.
This week they beat the US U-17 team in a friendly, after losing to them last year!

I think the new stadium creates a lot of opportunity. When you add that with the typical post World Cup draw that MLS get's it could be a very good opportunity.
I'm excited to see what happens.

Besides the fact that my desk is 3 feet away from a plasma TV playing Fox Soccer Channel all day.......I'm 10 feet away from Jeff Agoos office!
He was a member of the 1998 and 2002 USA World Cup Team. Can't wait to meet him.

Just don't start crying when you meet him and embarrass the whole Bethel Hoops community.

I went to the new stadium three times today.........and as i'm walking around talking about the upcoming season with some prospective season ticket holders.....in this gorgeous empty stadium....I'm thinking to myself, "This is my job....I'm getting paid to do this."
Ridiculous!
