I don't hate soccer (I've set my alarm for very early in the morning to watch World Cup games and I've probably been to more collegiate soccer games than 98% of the people on this board). What I hate is the attitude of "Soccer is the most popular sport in the world so if you don't like it and follow it, you are uncultured." Soccer's a fine sport -- just not as fine as football, basketball, baseball, and a few others.

You know, Jason... I was thinking the exact same thing (except the attending more college games part), but didn't say it because I couldn't think of the right way to word it. But, thank you for writing that for me!

Don't be turned off by the Eurosnob soccer fans in this country............they are the people that have drawn a line in the sand culturally and made it nearly impossible for fans of the big sports to step over and test the waters of soccer.
