Great news today for US National Team followers.
Defensive Midfielder Maurice Edu (Rangers FC, Scotland) made it through his first game simulation action in nearly 8 months following a long rehab stint on a knee injury.
He played 80 minutes and had no issues with the knee, which is a great sign. He is a sure bet to be on the 23 man roster for World Cup 2010 if he is healthy, adding to an already impressive list of midfielders wearing the Red, White, and Blue.
I've attached a video of the incident that caused his injury last season, as it was a very nasty and reckless challenge.
