Did you seriously say what you did above? I'm just making the point..you don't know where people on this board come from, so it's not nice to throw out accusations. Besides...I'm just giving you a hard time with the Prince Fielder picture above...most people will see that and snicker (I have quite a mastery of the humorous yarn). Others.....will take it as insult.

concord did have some studs..i remember the 05 game at concord..plymouth had like 13 moving screens called..coach edison said in the paper those were the best refs he has ever had...the other 50 refs that year must have missed those calls....lol..he later changed his comment in 06 because refs at south bend st joe could count in tenths..lol

Coach Edison taught his players how to set the best screens in the country! They were never legal, but they hardly ever were called. He also is so good at teaching "chesting" defense that just messes people up.

As someone who played Plymouth on a regular basis I could never figure out how Plymouth got away with so many blatent moving screens. It wasnt just at the varsity level but on down their program at every level you had to game plan for man to man defense that switches all screens on defense and an offense that is centered around usually 1 stud that runs off of tons of screens, a lot of which were illegal. And yes, I'm still bitter!!! LOL

Darrell Hopkins and the Wolves will be taking on the Portage Indians tonight. Portage has a 6'6" kid averaging 9 ppg. It'll be nice to see what he can do against a guy with more size. The tallest player on the Marquette squad was 6'4".

It's interesting to follow the bloodlines of these players currently in high school. Several are either brothers or second-generation players whose dads were successful high school players. I browsed through the rosters on the etpearl.com site and found numerous familiar names.
Penn- Jeff Laiding 6-3 fr., lot of Laidigs have gone through the Penn system Tommy Kurth 6-1 sr., his dad Frank was all-state football at Elkhart and grandfather Tom legendary coach of Elkhart football Jordan Brady 6-5 jr., familiar name at Penn, Bob Brady was head bball coach at Penn in 60's, taught there many years, assume they are somehow related
Triton- Jordan Everett 6-2 Jr., related to present BC player? Joel Meister 6-0 sr., Ryan Meister played at BC several years back, possibly brothers?
Rochester- Bruce Grimm Jr. 6-1 sr., his dad was all-state at Plymouth, went on to Furman
South Central- Jake Kitchel 6-8 Jr., great bball lineage with that name
North Judson- John Eckert 6-5 fr., Fred Eckert was a 6-9 all-stater when Indiana was still single class, went on to Vanderbilt (I think). If John is his son, I'll be interested to watch his progress
I may have missed some, but these names jumped out at me with well-known siblings/dads/grandfathers or otherwise related.

USF gets transfer Cory Kahlo 6'9" 260 I'm surprised Kahlo didn't end up at Marian with his former teammate Anthony Furlin. It's a nice pickup for USF. Where is Kahlo transferring from?

is he transferring right away to play this year? From where? This could be a big lift for St Francis. If he could get minutes to help Sawyer Davis out it'll be a big advantage to them.
Side note, is Eric Eaton back to playing or is he still sitting? does anyone know why he is/was sitting?

Just received word that Bethel has received a Verbal Commitment from Colton Keel of Triton!
Keel is putting up 14 points a game....three games into his senior year. This is a very good pick up for the Pilots.
