Tonight is a big game for the US.
A win away at any central american country is tough, and Trinidad & Tobago are no different.
Game kicks off at 6:30PM on ESPN Classic

did you watch the game over the weekend against ES. Why was our last goal disallowed? What was the call?

The call was simply...........from a ref that happens to be from Hondoras, who happened to be tied for 1st place in the group.
Jozy Altidore asked the ref why it was called off after the match and the ref ignored him and walked off.
It would be one of many bad calls suffered by the USA on the international stage.

but it was obviously onside and there was no explanation--what a great sport, refs are crooks and you can't even ask them what the call is because the game never stops, they don't answer your questions, and they don't speak English

Howard made some incredible saves early. Alot of mental breakdowns for the US that won't be able to occur in South Africa.

Howard was impressive, but it was the crossbar that saved us.
This team is starting to get into a routine of starting games slow and getting behind. I'm not sure how you fix it, but I would start with giving Clint Dempsey either some time on the bench to watch Stu Holden bust his butt for the team or try a radical new approach to the midfield, as in NOT STARTING TWO DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS IN EVERY SINGLE GAME.
