Congratulations Kyle. Would you like a cookie? I wouldn't pass judgment on you if you were arrested nor would I hang it over your head as you seem to do with Jamar, Luther, and some of these other guys. I'm just asking that you cool it with the snide references to mistakes in people's pasts.

'09 Illini commit Brandon Paul wowed scouts at the NBAPA camp where his team won the championship. This is a camp with the 100 best players in the country playing and each player gets 6 minute rotations in their games. Paul scored 10 points in his 12 minutes and left guru Van Coleman calling him the 2nd best 2 guard in the country. That's pretty high praise. I can't wait to see these guys play in the coming years!

More good news about Zach Peters, it looks as though he will be moving to Effingham!
From Midstatehoops.com:
"The state’s top player will be Zach Peters IF HIS TRANSFER GOES THROUGH. He’s a 6’8” 210 lbs combo forward from Plano, Texas and is expected to move from Texas to Effingham and attend St. Anthony’s High School, as his family is originally from the area. Peters was a class of 2011 prospect a two years ago and was considered top 15 nationally. As a 2012 prospect, most believe he will be the nation’s number one guy. He's a lot like Duke's Kyle Singler in the fact that he handles it very well and is a versatile performer."

Different coaches take different approaches. Luther Head turned his life around because of the 2nd chance Bruce Weber gave him. Perhaps Jamar Smith will do the same. Maybe you should be the one taking notes Maxy.

No..........I think Bruce just knows that Jamars 8 points per game are critical to being a .500 ball club.

You have no room to talk about basketball coaches and winning at all costs.

In Feller's defense, IU did get rid of the coach. In your defense though, I think that kids deserve second chances as well, and I think that if it can help them turn their life around, then so be it.
