In the first 2 minutes of todays scrimmage Austin dislocated his foot. I know they did put it back in place. Not sure on anything past this. This is just an awful thing right before his SR. year. So if you remember keep Austin in your prayers for a quick and speedy recovery back to the court.

Is that a common injury? I don't know if I've heard of anyone dislocating his foot.

this is horrible news. I feel bad for him, especially since it's his senior year, you never want to see someone go out like that, I hope it's not as bad as it sounds.

Kaiser will have surgery tomorrow to repair everything in his ankle. He has a dislocated/fractured/torn ligaments in his ankle. I have a pic if anyone would want to see it It is really gross and nasty!

I was at the hosp. for the surgery and the Dr. was very pleased with how it went. He expects full recovery over time. If you know Austin you know he remains as positive as ever. We hope to take him home sometime today.
Austin appreciates everyone's prayers and feels extremely fortunate that he has a great family and friends surrounding and supporting him thru this.
Please keep praying.

Glad to hear it went over well. No doubt there are some tough days ahead for Austin. Perhaps we Bethelhoopers should send him an e-card or something to show our support?

Any timeline for his return? Or is it an injury that will not allow him to play this year at all?
