I am glad there are some good close games...yesterdays games were mostly boring and mostly chalk.
1 2 seed out already, and some close other games with 1, 2, 3, and 4 seeds...

Congrats to Taylor alumnus John Groce on taking out Michigan! 2nd time in 3 years he's made this type of upset in the tourney.

Surprised Purdue pulled off a minor upset as well...
I still am sad that St. Bonaventure got put up against another hot team in FSU...I think had they met about any other team, they would have moved on...Watch for FSU in the FInal 4 now.

A big congratulations to Taylor grad John Groce for leading the Ohio University Bobcats into the Sweet 16. It might be bittersweet for OU as John will now probably get some real good offers. He has been rumored already about some other jobs. His resume of who he was assistant to and now having won in the big dance two out of the last four yeas is impressive.

The first state to have 4 teams advance to the Sweet 16 in the same year is. . . Ohio.

It's a great stat.... Here is an even better stat, Indiana has beaten 3 of last years Final Four, UCONN never got on the schedule to make it four.

That’s nice and all but… Cinci and Xavier are the first two teams to “go gangsta” on each other and still make it into the Sweet Sixteen. Top that...

Learned another interesting fact today, with 26 players from the State of Indiana in the Sweet 16, that's tops in America.

12 teams left in the tournament...............and still 4 Indiana Mr. Basketballs playing.
Tyler Zeller, Jordan Hulls, DeShaun Thomas, Cody Zeller.
I'll take that team.

I was in Phx last weekend--guy I'm staying with had 3rd row, center court tickets (given to him by John Smoltz) to the Louisville/Fla game. Great seats, great game. Only other time I was in that arena, i watched the sons from the top row (maybe 100 rows higher).
