I've read a few sites that believe that Jarrod Jones could be a late first-rounder in the 2012 draft. But, it will be a draft with quite a few strong PF's.

I didn't know that Evan Gordon went to Liberty. Then I found out that Eric Gordon, Sr. played at Liberty. The things I've learned today...

Again, Im diggin the indyhshoops site...Always wondered what happened to the "Hopf" cousins whom i watched beat Coach Gooden and the hawks two years in a row at State with Forest Park, and never knew one plays at Evansville.
...Seeing Randy Davis' stat line takes me back when we debated on here what NAIA/MCC school he would choose if ever leaned that way

For example, from the same site that you posted NBAdraft.net: " Jones has the potential to eventually become a first rounder ... Unfortunately he finds himself at the most talent laden position (PF) among draft prospects right now ... He would benefit by being patient and developing his game for the next 2-3 years..."

Indy HS Hoops had an interesting new twitter mailbag section installed over the weekend, where ppl asked questions and site moderator gave his thoughts. Here were a couple interesting rankings questions that he answered...Im def intrigued by the second list.
Who do you consider the top 10 recruits in the 2012 class? Good question, Julie. Here is my best crack at a top 10 in 2012. (I won’t consider Hanner Perea an Indiana prospect since he “moved into” Indiana).
1. Gary Harris- Hamilton Southeastern
2. Yogi Ferrell- Park Tudor
3. Jeremy Hollowell- Lawrence Central
4. D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera- North Central
5. Ron Patterson- Broad Ripple
6. Rapheal Davis- Fort Wayne Southside
7. Glenn Robinson III- Lake Central
8. RJ Hunter- Pike
9. Austin Burgett- Avon
10. DeJuan Marrero- Bowman Academy
If you had to rank the top 6 players in the state regardless of class who would they be? Including non-IHSAA if necessary!
This is a tough question, but I’ll do my best. My criteria; I’m going to rank the top 6 long-term prospects. (Since you said to include non-IHSAA players, I will include Hanner Perea in this ranking.)
1. Marquis Teague- 2011
2. Trey Lyles- 2014
3. Hanner Perea- 2012
4. Cody Zeller- 2011
5. Gary Harris- 2012
6. Jeremy Hollowell- 2012

Very intriguing that he took Hollowell in his top 6. It seems that a lot of schools are filling up (Ohio State, Indiana, Illinois, etc) and leaving him out there to get scooped up by a Johnny Come-lately during his senior year.

He's going to end up at Purdue. (Hollowell)

More interesting is that he has hollowel as Number 3 in his class (behind Yogi) and then skips yogi to put Hollowel in his top 6 overall...
Maybe just an oversight? Or does that bring the "Long-term" qualification into play...whatever that means.

I doubt Hollowell is going to Purdue. Do they have any more rides in the 2012 class?
