Wildcats start there season tonight on the road at Purdue Calumet in a tip-off classic.
They will also play tomorrow at 1 pm vs. East West of Chicago in this classic!

No freshmen are expected to start for the Wildcats according to a recent article in the Chronicle-Tribune.
I'm excited to see the development of Hubertz and Troyer as they quite possibly could be the two most counted on to help fill the void left by Murrell and Adler. Hopkins, Martin, and Jones will be fun to watch develop as freshmen.

another great start for an mcc school jones 20 minutes and 11 points hopkins 19 minutes 2 points iwu team was 10 of 18 from three pt land hubertz led all with 19 points

HAMMOND, Ind. (Box Score) -- Indiana Wesleyan University men's basketball earned a 71-60 victory over East-West (Ill.) University to win both their games this weekend at the Purdue-Calumet Tip-Off Classic in Hammond, Indiana. East-West held a one point lead at the half but Indiana Wesleyan outscored East-West 38-26 in the second half to capture the 11 point victory. Junior forward Will Hubertz once again led the team in scoring with 18 points while senior center Zach Coverstone followed with 16 points and seven rebounds. The IWU back court saw a lot of production today as sophomore guard Derrick Troyer added 14 points and seven steals while senior guard Spencer Harris contributed nine points and five assists. Indiana Wesleyan improves to 2-0 on the season while East-West falls to 1-2. The Wildcats return to the court at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10 as Indiana Wesleyan hits the road to play at Marygrove (Mich.) College.
