 Taylor Football
« Thread Started on Nov 1, 2009, 2:42pm »

After suffering for the past like 9 seasons of having a struggling football team, Taylor's football team seems to be doing MUCH better this year. The team is 5-3 after an INCREDIBLE game yesterday. From what I'm hearing (I wasn't there) this was one of the best games people have seen. Taylor was down in the 4th quarter and scored 18 unanswered points (3 touchdowns, no PATs) to win 36-35 over Marian on their homecoming. The last touchdown came on a 44 yard touchdown pass with 0 time left on the clock! I'm so excited that this team is being able to turn things around. They could very well finish the season 6-4 or if they play really well, 7-3! It is great to see this team doing well!

That is pretty cool - the QB was real close to the LOS when he let it go, but still behind it. Would have been fun to be there for that.

If this would have been against Iowa..................it would have been reviewed and reversed.

Magnasun won the NAIA offensive player of the week award. Also, here's a sweet article about the game from a paper in Grand Rapids.

Haha! You're probably right Feller.

you two are really good at hijacking threads...

Bringing it back, Taylor won today at Olivet Nazarene 45-35! 6-3 for the season with the last game being a tough one against St. Francis!

The new poll is out and Taylor is ranked 25th. It is their first ranking since 2000. Congratulations to Coach Korfmacher and the players!!
