Not trying to hi-jack your thread, but just to illustrate my point of Illinois having more talent... I did a little research and found Illinois has these 22 players currently on NBA rosters:

Shannon Brown
Will Bynum
Brian Cardinal
Brian Cook
Eddy Curry
Michael Finley
Kevin Garnett
Luther Head
Juwan Howard
Steven Hunter
Andre Iguodala
Shaun Livingston
Corey Maggette
Nazr Mohammed
Jannero Pargo
Anthony Parker
Quentin Richardson
Derrick Rose
Bobby Simmons
Alando Tucker
Dwayne Wade
Julian Wright

Compared to 11 from Indiana.

HU won or shared the MCC season title 4 times and won the MCC tourney 5 times (including the 99-00 tournament). HU also produced player/co-player of the year 7 times in the decade.

Porter 2x
Hill
Kock 3x
Sheckler

I also think that someone could make a strong argument that Taylor would come in second in this debate. I know they've struggled the past couple of years but prior to that they were always completing for the league title. In my opinion IWU is not even in the conversation. They were the doormat of the league the first half of the decade.

You're right... why would I think a state that has recently produced Dwayne Wade, Derrick Rose, and Kevin Garnett produces the most talent? Silly, silly me.

Yes, I agree class basketball makes the discussion tough now. But, yeah I would give it to them as well. That 3 peat and win streak were two of the greatest feats ever and they were also relevant in the early 2000's when Pike had its way in the Indianapolis area.

Also you are right man, those indianapolis sectionals were brutal and stocked with talent a couple years ago which caused many solid programs from this decade to have short post-season runs...hey and the guys you named would easily make an All-Decade team

You don't deserve to win a game when you shoot 25% no matter how poorly it was officiated.

No one is saying Harrington isn't entitled to his opinion. He certainly is. And from what I know of his site (since I haven't been on it in years after he booted everyone who wasn't a HU fan) it is very much a fan site, not one containing official press releases or publication of HU Athletics. Much like this fine site we call bethelhoops.

I just found it funny that 90% of his "recap" was about things that he said really didn't matter considering how poorly HU shot. Officiating is subjective in many cases and for me personally, I find it laughable when some fans mention everything that didn't go there way in a loss but if they had won rarely do things get mentioned at all. I write game recaps/press releases for a living so perhaps I have different perspective. Just my observation, I don't neccessarily expect you to agree.
